Female Genital Rejuvenations
Female Genital Liposuction (Vulvar Lipoplasty)
In some patients, especially those who have had extra weight gain, there is unpleasant increase in the thickness of the skin fat above the genital area (called Mons Pubis) and also the Labia Majora (the lateral sides of the genital openings). We can reduce these bulges by performing liposuction of these area to make their appearances more appealing.
Some female patients have enlargement of their genital lips (Labia Minora). This condition might cause pain and discomfort with intercourse or tight clothing. By performing Labiaplasty these problem can be easily resolved without any down time. Labiaplasty can also be performed for cases of congenital malformation of the genital labias too.
Correction of Genital Looseness (Vaginal Rejuvenation)
Female patients, especially those with multiple vaginal births, are sometimes suffering from from looseness of the genital canal(vagina).this phenomena usually happens as the result of vaginal births or delivery of large infants. As the baby is progressing in passage through the birth canal, it stretches the supporting muscles and ligaments of the birth canal and sometimes it tears these structures which would lead to looseness of the vaginal canal with resultant herniation of the bladder and urinary tube (called Cysto-Retrocede), or the rectum(called Rectocele). In some occasions the whole uterus might protrude out of genital opening (called Procedentia). The bladder descent and herniation (Cystocele) might cause frequent urination, difficulty in urination and also difficulty in control of the urine (Urinary Incontinence). The rectal herniation might cause difficulty in moving bowels too.
Obviously these genital looseness might cause dissatisfying sexual intercourse for both sexual partners too.
Vaginal rejuvenation, (also called Vaginal Reconstructions or Renovation, A&P repair, Cysto-Rectocele repair or Perineoplasty), will correct these genital problems.
The medical insurance companies will also cover the surgical repair costs for correction of Stress Urinary Incontinence and Symptomatic Cysto-Rectocele too.

LEEP Procedure for Abnormal Cytology or Cone Procedure
The Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) or Cone Procedure are used to treat abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix. During the procedure, the cells are removed to prevent development of cervical cancer.
Wire loops attached to an electrosurgical generator cut away the affected tissue, causing the cells to heat and burst. The removed tissue is then sent to a lab for further evaluation, including ensuring full removal and assessing the cause of the abnormal area.
Hysteroscopy Procedures (Including Endoablation Procedures)
A hysteroscopy is a procedure done to examine the lining of the uterus (endometrium) and identify, diagnose or treat abnormalities. The procedure uses a viewing tool called a hysteroscope, which has a light and camera at the end, and is inserted into the vagina and moved through the cervix to see the uterus. The hysteroscope projects an image onto a display screen for the doctor to view. The doctor may also take a small sample of tissue to examine more closely under a microscope.
A hysteroscopy may be done to determine the cause of abnormal bleeding or bleeding after menopause, determine the cause of infertility, find and remove fibroids or polyps and find and reposition an intrauterine device. A local or general anesthesia may be used to relax the patient and relieve any potential discomfort.
While this is a simple and safe procedure, a hysteroscopy is not recommended for everyone and certain conditions can affect the results or lead to side effects. Talk to your doctor if you think it may be right for you.
Endoablation (Endometrial Ablation) is done by different techniques such as Minerva, Novasure, Her Option, Genesys HTA and Thermachoice, for treatment of abnormal and/or heavy menstrual bleedings. By this outpatient procedure female patients might be able to save their uterus and avoid Hystrectomy (removal of uterus).
Essure® Sterilization & Adiana Procedure
For many women, birth control is a constant concern that they have to think about for years and years. While there are many options, most come with side effects, hassles or worries about complete protection. Finding an effective, reliable and convenient form of birth control can be a major struggle. For women who have decided that their family is complete and are considering permanent birth control, Essure® may be the right answer.
Essure or Adiana are permanent forms of birth control for women who are certain that they do not want to become pregnant in the future. These FDA-approved treatments involve a noninvasive procedure that inserts tiny, spring-like coils into the fallopian tubes to block sperm from reaching the eggs.
